Succession Crises

One of the most common and devastating challenges is a succession crisis. When your ruler dies, especially if they have multiple children or if your realm is governed by succession laws like Confederate Partition, your realm can fracture.

  • Title Fragmentation: Under Confederate Partition, your heir might inherit only a portion of your titles, with others going to siblings. This can significantly weaken your starting position.
