As your realm grows, powerful vassals will inevitably form 'Independence Factions'. This is a major internal 'boss' that can shatter your empire. To counter them, identify the faction's leaders and members. Use your Spymaster to 'Deter Schemes' or 'Fabricate Hooks' on key members. Improve opinions of powerful vassals through gifts, honorary titles, and advantageous marriages. If a faction becomes too strong, consider granting concessions or even assassinating its leader to buy time. Maintain a strong military to deter demands.
