After the Nanosuit transfer, you'll be disoriented. Follow the on-screen prompts to activate your Nanosuit's basic functions. Your first task is to escape the sinking submarine. Move through the flooded corridors, using the 'F' key to interact with doors and clear debris. The Nanosuit will guide you with objective markers. You'll encounter your first Ceph Stalkers here; use your basic assault rifle to eliminate them. Remember to reload and pick up ammo from fallen enemies. The path is linear, leading you upwards and eventually out of the wreckage into the devastated streets of New York.
