The Ceph Pinger is a massive, quadrupedal Ceph war machine that acts as a mini-boss in several missions. It's heavily armored and equipped with powerful energy weapons. Its primary attacks include a rapid-fire energy cannon, a devastating ground pound, and homing energy projectiles. The key to defeating a Pinger is to target its weak points. These are typically the glowing red vents on its legs and back. Use Armor Mode to absorb incoming fire, then switch to a powerful weapon like the Typhoon, Grendel, or PAC, or use Explosive Arrows from the Predator Bow. Focus fire on one leg until it's destroyed, which will temporarily stun the Pinger and expose its back weak point. Repeat this process for all legs. Utilize cover to avoid its attacks and regenerate energy. Environmental explosives can also deal significant damage if timed correctly. Keep moving and prioritize dodging its ground pound.
