Flanking & Diversions
CELL and Ceph AI can be predictable. They often follow set patrol routes or will converge on your last known position. Use this to your advantage. Create a diversion (e.g., shoot a distant object, throw a grenade) to draw enemies away, then flank them from an unexpected angle. Stealth takedowns are excellent for reducing enemy numbers before a full engagement.
Prioritize Threats
Always use your visor to tag enemies and identify priority targets. Snipers, heavy weapon specialists (like CELL Heavy Troopers or Ceph Devastators), and enemies with alarms should be eliminated first. Taking out these threats early will significantly reduce the difficulty of an encounter. For Ceph, target their weak points for quick kills.
Faction Conflicts
When CELL and Ceph forces are fighting each other, let them. Stay cloaked and observe, allowing them to weaken each other. Once one side is significantly depleted, move in to finish off the survivors. This conserves your ammo and energy, and often provides valuable intel on enemy positions.
