Utilizing experience bonuses from relics, potions, and 'rested experience' (if applicable on your server) can significantly speed up the process. Don't be afraid to skip less efficient quests once you've learned the basics. Always keep your gear updated, as higher quality (QL) items mean faster kills and less downtime.
