Key Optional Areas
- Grave of Saints: Accessible from Majula. Leads to the Royal Rat Authority boss and the Rat King Covenant.
- Doors of Pharros: Connected to the Grave of Saints. Features the Royal Rat Vanguard boss and many Pharros' Lockstone puzzles.
- Shrine of Amana: A beautiful but dangerous area with powerful magic-wielding enemies. Leads to the Demon of Song.
- Undead Crypt: A dark, solemn area with unique enemies and the Velstadt, the Royal Aegis boss.
- Dragon Aerie & Dragon Shrine: Accessed after obtaining the Ashen Mist Heart. Home to ancient dragons and the Ancient Dragon boss.
