The Emerald Herald
Location: Various.
The Emerald Herald is a central figure who offers to level up your character. He also provides lore and can be a source of healing items. His questline is tied to your progression and the overall narrative. He is found initially at the start of the game and later at Majula.
Creighton the Wanderer
Location: Various.
Creighton is a notorious invader and a potential ally. His questline involves tracking down his rival, Pate. You'll encounter him in several locations, including the Shaded Woods and the Dragon's Aerie. Completing his quest can lead to the Creighton's Set and his weapon.
Pate
Location: Various.
Pate is a cunning trap-maker who offers assistance and often leads you into danger. His questline is intertwined with Creighton's. He can be found in the Forest of Fallen Giants and the Earthen Peak. Helping him can yield the Pate's Spear and his armor.
Benhart of Jugo
Location: Various.
Benhart is a warrior seeking to reclaim his lost memories. He can be summoned for certain boss fights. His quest involves finding his scattered equipment. You'll encounter him in the Forest of Fallen Giants, the Shaded Woods, and the Brightstone Cove Tseldora. Completing his quest rewards you with his sature weapon, Benhart's Blade.
Lucatiel of Mirrah
Location: Various.
Lucatiel is a noblewoman searching for her lost brother. She can be summoned for boss fights and offers valuable insights into the world's lore. Her questline requires you to speak with her multiple times and defeat certain bosses. If you speak to her enough times and she survives, you will receive her equipment, including the Lucatiel's Mask and Lucatiel's Sword.
Straid of Olaphis
Location: The Lost Bastille.
Straid is an ancient sorcerer imprisoned for his forbidden magic. You can free him by finding the Forgotten Key. He sells powerful sorceries and can transpose boss souls into unique weapons and spells. His quest is straightforward: find him, free him, and trade with him.
Rosabeth of Melfia
Location: Various.
Rosabeth is a pyromancer who can teach you pyromancies. She is initially found petrified in the Shaded Woods and requires a specific item to be freed. She later moves to Majula. Her quest involves finding her and then speaking to her in Majula.
Vengarl of Forossa
Location: Shaded Woods.
Vengarl is a warrior whose body has been separated from his head. He can be found in the Shaded Woods and later in the Doors of Pharros. He offers advice and can be summoned for certain fights. His quest involves finding his head and speaking to him. He will reward you with his armor and weapon.
