The Dragonrider is a relatively straightforward boss. You can make the fight easier by activating the two pressure plates in the arena before the fight, which expands the platform. Stay close to him, circle strafe, and attack after his combos. Be wary of his shield bash and spear thrusts. Defeating him grants the Soul of the Dragonrider.
