Weaknesses and Resistances
The Curse-Rotted Greatwood is particularly weak to Slash damage, which can effectively damage its egg sacs. Fire damage is also highly effective, especially when targeting the egg sacs on its limbs and body, causing them to burst more readily. While it has no significant resistances to standard damage types, Strike damage is generally less effective against its core body compared to Slash or Fire. Its primary weakness lies in the destruction of its egg sacs.
Phase 1 Strategy
In the first phase, the Greatwood remains relatively stationary. focus on attacking the large egg sacs located on its front, limbs, and underside. Be wary of its rolling attack, where it curls into a ball and rolls across the arena, which can be devastating if not dodged effectively.
