Lorian, Elder Prince & Lothric, Younger Prince (Twin Princes)

Lorian, Elder Prince, and Lothric, Younger Prince, collectively known as the Twin Princes, are the final boss of the Grand Archives and a significant hurdle on the path to linking the First Flame. This boss fight is a two-phase encounter that tests the player's adaptability and endurance. In Phase 1, players will face Lorian, Elder Prince, a formidable swordsman who utilizes teleportation to close distances and launch swift, powerful attacks. His primary weakness is Frostbite, while he exhibits resistances to Fire and Magic. The strategy here is to stay close to Lorian, as this often makes his teleportation less effective and allows for easier dodging of his sword swings. Attacking his back after he completes his combos is a key tactic. Phase 2 introduces Lothric, Younger Prince, who revives Lorian and begins to cast devastating spells from his back. While Lorian remains a physical threat, Lothric's magical assaults add a significant layer of complexity. The strategy remains largely focused on Lorian, but players must now also contend with Lothric's ranged attacks, which can include powerful magic projectiles and area-of-effect spells. The Twin Princes exhibit resistances to Dark damage. Successfully defeating this duo rewards You with the Soul of the Twin Princes, a potent soul that can be transposed into powerful weapons or spells, and is essential for progressing to the game's final area.
