Estus Flask Usage
Estus Flasks are vital for survival in Dark Souls III, providing health and FP recovery. The Ashen Estus Flask, specifically, restores Focus Points (FP), which are essential for using weapon skills and spells. Locating these flasks and understanding their use is critical for managing resources throughout your journey.
The Ashen Estus Flask can be found early in the game. After defeating the first enemy, proceed right to loot a Soul of a Deserted Corpse. Then, backtrack to the first enemy's location and continue to a soul-vessel-like fountain. Loot the corpse by this fountain to obtain the Ashen Estus Flask.
Bonfires serve as key checkpoints where you can:
- Recover health and FP.
- Refill Estus Flask charges.
- Cure status ailments.
- Fast travel between discovered bonfires.
