Your journey begins with character creation. While appearance is cosmetic, your starting class dictates your initial stats, equipment, and a small head start in certain playstyles. No class is 'bad,' as you can respec later. Consider your preferred combat style: melee, magic, or a hybrid. The Knight is excellent for beginners, offering good Vigor and Strength. The Warrior is similar but with more Dexterity. The Pyromancer offers a strong early game with fire spells, while the Sorcerer and Cleric require more investment to shine.
