Aldrich, Devourer of Gods, is one of the Lords of Cinder and a formidable boss encountered in the Irithyll of the Boreal Valley. This boss fight combines potent magical attacks with physical strikes, demanding a strategic approach to combat. Aldrich's ability to teleport frequently across the arena adds a layer of unpredictability to the encounter.
Boss Strategy: Aldrich employs a variety of attacks. In the first phase, he will frequently teleport, often at a distance, and unleash barrages of soul arrows and a powerful, large soul spear. The key to this phase is to close the distance quickly and maintain pressure on his body or tail. Staying close can limit his ability to cast his more devastating ranged spells. be mindful of his teleportation patterns to anticipate his movements and position themselves for counter-attacks.
The second phase of the fight introduces a significant escalation in danger as Aldrich gains access to devastating fire-based attacks. Most notably, he can unleash a rain of arrows that covers a large portion of the arena.
