Each covenant has a specific objective (e.g., defending an area, invading others) and requires offering 'Proof of Concord Kept' or other items to rank up. Ranking up grants powerful rings, spells, and weapons.

- Warriors of Sunlight: Co-op focused. Offer Sunlight Medals. Rewards: Sacred Oath, Great Lightning Spear.
- Way of Blue: Passive defense. Automatically summons Blue Sentinels/Darkmoon Blades when invaded.
- Blue Sentinels/Blades of the Darkmoon: Protect Way of Blue members. Offer Proof of Concord Kept. Rewards: Darkmoon Blade, Ring of the Darkmoon.
- Mound-Makers: Chaotic co-op/PvP. Offer Vertebra Shackles. Rewards: Bloodlust, Warmth.
- Watchdogs of Farron: Defend Farron Keep. Offer Wolf's Blood Swordgrass. Rewards: Old Wolf Curved Sword, Wolf Ring.
- Aldrich Faithful: Defend Anor Londo. Offer Human Dregs. Rewards: Great Deep Soul, Archdeacon's Great Staff.
- Rosaria's Fingers: PvP focused. Offer Pale Tongues. Rewards: Obscuring Ring, Man-Grub's Staff.
