Weapons are your primary means of offense. They come in various categories, each with unique movesets, scaling, and weapon arts. Experiment to find what suits your playstyle.

Weapon Categories:

  • Daggers: Fast, low damage, high critical.
  • Straight Swords: Balanced, versatile, good for beginners.
  • Greatswords: Slower, higher damage, good stagger.
  • Ultra Greatswords: Very slow, very high damage, high stagger, often have hyper armor.
  • Curved Swords: Fast, agile, good for Bleed builds.
  • Katanas: Fast, high Dexterity scaling, often have Bleed.
  • Axes: Moderate speed, good damage, often Strength-focused.
  • Greataxes: Slower, high damage, high stagger.
  • Hammers: Similar to axes, often blunt damage.
  • Great Hammers: Very slow, very high blunt damage, high stagger.
  • Spears: Ranged melee, good for poking from behind a shield.

Weapon Scaling:

Weapons scale with your stats (Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Faith, Luck) indicated by letters (E, D, C, B, A, S). S is the best scaling.
