Shields are defensive tools that allow you to parry incoming attacks, reflecting damage and often stunning enemies. The Rampart (grants temporary invincibility on parry), Parry Shield (high parry damage), and Bloodthirsty Shield (causes bleeding on parry) are excellent options. Mastering the parry mechanic is crucial for higher difficulties, as it can turn the tide of battle and open enemies to critical hits. Even without a dedicated Survival build, a shield can be invaluable.
