Venturing into challenging late-game biomes like the Cavern or the trap-laden Derelict Distillery grants access to higher-level gear and unique blueprints not found elsewhere. You should also keep a keen eye for hidden rooms (marked by faint wall runes) and lore rooms; the former often contain food or gems to sustain your health and economy, while the latter provide one-time items or story-based rewards. Most importantly, prioritize hunting for permanent upgrades: investing Cells into Health Flask capacity allows you to survive more mistakes, while unlocking the Recycling and Gold Reserve upgrades ensures you have the financial resources to purchase powerful late-game equipment from shops.
