Surviving with Boss Stem Cells requires a fundamental shift in strategy. Enemies gain new attack patterns and increased aggression. For instance, in 1 Boss Cell, enemies might gain shields or new projectile attacks. At 2 Boss Cells, expect more enemies to appear simultaneously, and their damage output will be substantially higher. By 3 Boss Cells, many enemies will have new, deadly attacks, and the overall pace of combat becomes incredibly frantic.
Key strategies for Boss Stem Cell progression include:
- Mastering Parry and Dodge: With increased enemy damage, taking hits is far more punishing. Perfecting your parry timing and dodge rolls is paramount to survival.
- Prioritizing Scrolls: Every Scroll of Power counts. Focus on acquiring as many as possible to boost your primary damage stat (Brutality, Tactic, or Survival) and your health.
- Synergistic Builds: Experiment with weapon and skill combinations that complement each other. For example, a shield that inflicts poison combined with a weapon that deals bonus damage to poisoned enemies can be devastating.
