How to Beat The Throne Room

The Throne Room is the final biome before facing The Hand of the King, one of Dead Cells' most formidable bosses. Success in this area relies on strategic preparation and understanding how blueprints are acquired and unlocked. Blueprints are crucial for unlocking new gear and abilities that will aid you in this challenging encounter.

  • Blueprints: These items unlock new Gear, Mutations, upgrades, and outfits. They can be found by killing enemies, in secret areas, or through puzzles and timed doors.
  • Boss Stem Cell Limitations: Some blueprints are limited by Boss Stem Cells (BSC), meaning they may not drop on lower difficulties or require specific BSC levels to access their locations or enemies.
  • Unlocking Blueprints: Once a blueprint is found, you must talk to The Collector in any biome transition to deliver it. Blueprints are then unlocked by paying cells to The Collector.
  • Blueprint Loss: If you die before delivering a blueprint to The Collector, it is lost for that run.
  • Boss Blueprint Drops: Bosses have a set order of blueprint drops, often tied to minimum BSC difficulty levels (e.g., 1+ BSC, 2+ BSC). Defeating a boss at a higher difficulty than required for its next blueprint will still only grant one blueprint.
  • Non-Enemy/Boss Blueprints: 42 blueprints are not dropped by enemies or bosses. These are found in secret areas, after puzzles, inside timed doors, in rune-exclusive areas, locked doors, or as rewards for Daily Runs.
