Enemies and Hazards
Dead Cells features randomly generated levels, meaning specific maps for individual areas are not available. However, within these randomized zones, certain preset events, Blueprints, and bosses will consistently appear. Each exploration area overview details the enemy types and hazards you'll likely encounter, along with the number of Scrolls of Power and any area-specific Blueprints.
Blueprints are items used to unlock new Gear, Mutations, upgrades, and outfits. They can be found by defeating enemies, in secret areas, or behind obstacles like keys, rune requirements, puzzles, or timed doors. Some Blueprints are restricted by Boss Stem Cells, meaning they may not drop on lower difficulty levels or require specific conditions tied to higher difficulties.
There are 42 Blueprints not dropped by enemies or bosses; these are found in secret areas, at the end of puzzles, inside timed doors, in rune-exclusive areas, locked doors, or as rewards for completing Daily Runs. A maximum of one outfit and one item Blueprint can randomly drop from enemies in each biome per run. This limit applies even to enemies with 100% drop chance Blueprints; if multiple such enemies are present, only the first one killed will drop its Blueprint.
