Confront the Hive Mind

After escaping the Ishimura, you'll find yourself on Aegis VII, the source of the Marker. Your objective is to confront the Hive Mind, the ultimate Necromorph. This is the final boss fight of the game. The Hive Mind is a massive creature with multiple vulnerable points, typically glowing yellow sacs on its tentacles and body. The fight takes place in a large, open arena. The Hive Mind has several attack patterns, including sweeping tentacles, projectile attacks, and summoning smaller Necromorphs. Use your most powerful weapons, especially the Contact Beam and Line Gun, to target its weak points. Stasis can be used to slow its attacks, giving you time to dodge or reload. The fight has multiple phases, with the Hive Mind becoming more aggressive and revealing new vulnerabilities as it takes damage. Conserve your health packs and ammo, and stay mobile. Defeating the Hive Mind concludes the main story.
