Calibrate the Centrifuge

After refueling both engines in Chapter 3: Course Correction, your next task is to reactivate the Centrifuge. Take the Cargo Lift down to Floor 2 to reach the Centrifuge area. This is a critical step in getting the USG Ishimura operational again.

To calibrate and restart the Centrifuge:

  1. Enter the Centrifuge.
  2. Attach the two generator modules using Stasis and Kinesis.
  3. Restart the Centrifuge.

Once the Centrifuge is restarted, you will need to escape back to the Control Room. This escape is challenging as you will have no life support and the Centrifuge will be rotating at maximum velocity. Take the Cargo Lift down and run clockwise around the Centrifuge, moving in the opposite direction of its swing. This strategy allows you to find safe points for shelter. Using Stasis will not slow down the Centrifuge's rotation.

While in the Centrifuge area, you can find Power Node #13. After leaving decontamination, enter the outer ring of the Centrifuge. Follow the signs and take the corridor to your left towards Centrifuge Control North. The corridor leads to a dead end where you will find the Node Crate resting on some Corruption growths.
