The Stasis Module in Dead Space (Remake) is found in the Tram Station Hall, in front of a malfunctioning door that slams shut. This essential tool allows you to slow down objects and Necromorphs, and is crucial for solving environmental puzzles and gaining a combat advantage.

Retrieving the Stasis Module

  • Location: As you proceed from the Tram Control Room towards the Tram Station Hall, you will encounter a malfunctioning door that repeatedly slams shut. The Stasis Module is located on the floor directly in front of this door.
  • Usage: Use the Stasis Module to shoot the faulty door, slowing its movement so you can pass through safely.
  • Progression: Continue through the subsequent hallways, picking up a Stasis pack from the floor, and interact with the save station ahead. The lights will cut out as you approach.
  • Tram Repair Room: Proceed through the dark corridors until you reach the Tram Repair Room.
  • Achievement Hint: For the "Freeze Achievement," use Stasis on 50 enemies. Take advantage of Stasis Recharge Stations to frequently use your Stasis ability.
  • Upgrade Information: Unlike the original game, Power Nodes are now solely for upgrading and are not used to open locked doors. The Stasis Module's upgrades are incorporated into the Suit Upgrade tree. A "Prototype Stasis Module" can be found in the Diagnostic Lab, which makes enemies hit by Stasis completely immobile and deals damage over time.
