Chapter 7: Into the Void

Chapter 7, "Into the Void," tasks Isaac with retrieving the SOS Beacon from the Mining Deck. This chapter involves navigating through various areas, lifting lockdowns, and managing your credits for a significant suit upgrade. Prepare for environmental challenges and Necromorph encounters.

To begin Chapter 7, take the Cargo Lift down to enter Mining. Lift the station lockdown, then proceed through the Tram into Engineering.

The Rig Room will serve as your new hub for the Mining Deck and contains an Upgrade Bench. For the remainder of this chapter, refrain from making any purchases and save your Credits, as you will need 35,000 Credits to acquire the new Suit Level 4.

Upon reaching Mining Control, you will find that you lack the necessary Security Clearance to use the Launch Tubes. This triggers two primary objectives: obtain higher Security Clearance and locate the SOS Beacon.

To get to the Equipment Workshop, you must travel across a gondola through the Equipment Maintenance Bay; be vigilant for enemies. Inside the Equipment Workshop, you can collect the SOS Beacon.

With the SOS Beacon in hand, take the central Cargo Lift down to Deck C and return to Mining Control.

Attempt to load the SOS Beacon into the Launch Tube. This will reveal a new step: take the Battery powering the Cargo Lift up to Mining Control, then use Kinesis to move it to the Cargo Lift leading down to the Mining Bay.

Return to Mining Control. With everything set, launch the asteroid with the SOS Beacon attached into space. Following this, you will need to quickly return to the Rig Room for safety.
