To obtain Security Clearance Level 3 in Dead Space (Remake), you must first acquire Level 2 Clearance. Then, you need to locate Dallas’ Rig, which is part of the “You Are Not Authorized” side mission. This rig is found on Deck B, Floor 4, in a locked room within the central Cargo Lift area.
How to Get Security Clearance Level 3
Getting Level 3 Security Clearance involves a specific side mission. First, ensure you have Level 2 Security Clearance, which Hammond grants during the main story when trying to get the ADS Cannons online.
With Level 2 Clearance, you can access several valuable items:
- Weapon #5 – Contact Beam: Found in the Records Room, off to the right when entering the next room after a corridor.
- Power Node #19: Located in the Mining Administration room. Enter the Fuse Room using Level 2 Clearance, smash the Fuse Box, then enter the Admin Server Maintenance room. The Node Crate is on the wall in the main work room.
- Weapon #6 – Line Gun: After the tense situation in the Emergency Room, restore power to ER Hallway A. Use Level 2 Clearance to open the Emergency Equipment Storage door before proceeding to ER Hallway B. The Line Gun and Line Gun Racks are inside.
To get Level 3 Security Clearance, you need to find Dallas’ Rig. This is a requirement for the Side Mission – You Are Not Authorized. Return to the central Cargo Lift and take it up to Deck B on Floor 4. Clear out the Necromorphs in the area, and you will find a locked room in the center where Dallas' Rig is located.
Once you have Level 3 Security Clearance, you can access the Utility Room on Floor 1 of the Equipment Maintenance Bay. Re-enter the Equipment Maintenance Bay and turn off gravity. Use your Zero-G Thrusters to reach Floor 1. Open the Utility Room, and you will find Weapon Upgrade #11 – Macroliter Fuel Tank on the floor.
