Weapon Schematics & Upgrades — Dead Space (Remake) Guide

Acquiring schematics and weapon upgrades is crucial for enhancing your arsenal in Dead Space (Remake). One early upgrade, the Cartridge Rack, is found in Chapter 2. After using the Shock Pad and Hydrazine Canister to clear a barricade, enter the Ishimura Clinic reception. The Cartridge Rack will be on a bench to your left. This upgrade unlocks further enhancements for the Plasma Cutter once brought to a Work Bench.

Another important schematic is Schematic #2 – Stasis Pack. This can be found in Chapter 2, after leaving the Main Lab and entering the Main Lab Changing Room. It is located on a bench to your right as you enter the room.

The first weapon you acquire is the Plasma Cutter. This is given to you in Chapter 1 after restoring power to the Flight Lounge and taking the Cargo Lift down to the Service Workshop.
