Welcome, fellow Loopers! This comprehensive guide will help you unlock every achievement and trophy in Deathloop. Whether you're a completionist aiming for that coveted Platinum or just looking to snag a few challenging ones, we've got you covered. Remember, the key to many of these lies in understanding the loop and exploiting its mechanics.
General Tips for Achievement Hunting
- Embrace the Loop: Don't be afraid to experiment and fail. Each loop provides new opportunities and information.
- Infuse Everything: Prioritize infusing powerful weapons, Slabs, and Trinkets. This ensures you retain progress across loops.
- Stealth vs. Chaos: Some achievements favor a stealthy approach, while others encourage going in guns blazing. Adapt your playstyle.
- Explore Thoroughly: Many secrets and unique interactions are hidden in plain sight. Check every corner of every district.
- Consult the Leads: The Visionary Leads and Arsenal Leads are your roadmap to understanding the loop and its targets.
Specific Achievement Walkthroughs
One Perfect Day (Gold/Rare)
Complete the perfect loop, eliminating all Visionaries in a single day.
This is the ultimate challenge and requires meticulous planning. You'll need to orchestrate the deaths of all eight Visionaries within the four time periods (Morning, Noon, Afternoon, Evening). Follow these steps:
- Morning: Karl's Bay
- Eliminate Harriet Morse. The easiest method is to sabotage her gas chamber. You can also engage her directly, but be prepared for her gas attacks.
- Noon: The Complex
- Eliminate Egor Serling. He's often found in his lab. A stealthy approach is recommended, perhaps using the Aether Slab to bypass guards.
- Afternoon: Fristad Rock
- Eliminate Charlie Montague and Fia Zborowska. This is a crucial step. You need to lure them together. Follow the "Space Invader" Visionary Lead to learn how to manipulate their meeting. Once they are together in the bunker, you can use the environment to your advantage, such as flooding the area or a well-placed explosive.
- Evening: Updaam
- Eliminate Aleksis Dorsey, Wenjie Evans, and Julianna Blake. This is the grand finale.
- Aleksis Dorsey: He's hosting a party at his manor. You'll need to identify him among the masked guests. Look for clues in his office or listen to conversations. A stealthy takedown or a chaotic assault are both viable.
- Wenjie Evans: After dealing with Aleksis, Wenjie will arrive at the party. She's usually found near the stage or in a side room.
- Julianna Blake: She will appear as a hostile invader during this final phase. Be ready for a challenging fight. use your infused Slabs and best weapons.
- Eliminate Aleksis Dorsey, Wenjie Evans, and Julianna Blake. This is the grand finale.
Key Slabs & Weapons: For this run, consider infusing the Shift Slab for mobility, Aether for stealth, and Nexus for crowd control. High-tier weapons like the Sepulchra Breteira sniper rifle or the Fourpounder pistol are highly recommended.
Ghost in the Machine (Silver/Uncommon)
Complete a district without being detected once.
This achievement requires patience and mastery of stealth. Karl's Bay in the Morning is an excellent choice due to its relatively open layout and predictable enemy patrols.
- Choose Your Loadout:
- Slab: Aether (for invisibility) is almost essential. Upgrade it with the 'Ghost' perk for silent movement.
- Trinkets: Equip 'Sprinter' for faster movement, 'Silent Steps' for reduced noise, and 'Master Key' for faster lockpicking.
- Weapon: A silenced weapon like the LIMP-10 with a suppressor attachment is ideal for emergencies, but try to avoid combat entirely.
- Entry Point: Start from the tunnels and choose a less-patrolled entry point into the main area of Karl's Bay.
- Pathfinding: Stick to high ground, rooftops, and shadowed areas. Use environmental cover.
- Observe Patrols: Take your time to watch enemy patrol routes before moving.
- Avoid Detection: If an enemy's awareness indicator turns yellow, immediately use Aether and find new cover. If it turns red, you've been detected, and you'll need to restart the loop or district.
- Objective: You don't need to kill anyone, just traverse the entire district and exit without being seen. A simple objective like hacking a turret and leaving can count.
Don't Mind Me (Bronze/Common)
Kill a Visionary without them ever knowing you were there.
This achievement is easier than it sounds, especially with the right tools. Charlie Montague at Noon in The Complex is a prime target.
- Target: Charlie Montague (The Complex, Noon).
- Approach: Enter The Complex and head towards Charlie's game. He's often on the upper floor, distracted by his game or talking to Eternalists.
- Stealth: Use the Aether Slab to become invisible. Approach him from behind or above.
- Execution: Perform a stealth takedown (melee attack from behind) or use a silenced weapon for a headshot. Ensure no other enemies are alerted by the kill itself. The key is that Charlie himself never enters an "alerted" state (yellow or red indicator).
Quantum Leap (Silver/Uncommon)
Escape the loop after killing all Visionaries.
This achievement is tied directly to the main story progression. Once you've successfully completed "One Perfect Day" and eliminated all Visionaries, you'll be presented with a choice at the very end of the loop. Make the decision to break the loop, and this achievement will unlock.
- Prerequisite: Complete the "Ending It" Visionary Lead, which culminates in the "One Perfect Day" scenario.
- Final Choice: After eliminating Julianna and the other Visionaries in Updaam (Evening), you'll reach a specific point where you can either break the loop or continue it. Choose to break it.
Good luck, Colt! May your loops be fruitful and your achievements plentiful!
