Spamton NEO is the optional, highly challenging secret boss of Chapter 2, found in the Queen's Mansion basement after completing specific prerequisites. This fight is a unique blend of bullet-hell and RPG mechanics, featuring a distinct visual style and a memorable soundtrack.
Phases & Attacks:
- Phase 1: Spamton NEO attacks with various digital-themed projectiles, including phone calls, pop-up ads, and 'Pipis' (exploding eggs). He has weak points (his eyes and nose) that can be targeted.
- Phase 2 (Low HP): His attacks become more intense, often filling the screen. He'll use his 'BIG SHOT' attack, which requires precise dodging.
Strategy:
- Pacifist Route: To spare Spamton NEO, you must use specific ACTs to 'Charge' Kris's SOUL, then 'Release' it to damage his wires. This involves a rhythm-based mini-game during the fight. Susie and Ralsei should focus on defending, healing, and using 'Pacify' on the Pipis. This route is complex and requires understanding the 'Charge' mechanic.
- Violent Route: Focus on dealing damage to Spamton NEO's weak points (eyes and nose) with Kris's 'FIGHT' and Susie's 'Rude Buster'. Ralsei should heal. This route is a pure test of dodging and damage output.
Rewards: Dealmaker (powerful accessory) for pacifist route, or PuppetScarf (Kris's best weapon) for violent route.
