The world of Demon's Souls is populated by several dangerous foes, each with unique attack patterns and weaknesses. Understanding these enemies is crucial for survival. From the common Dreglings to the formidable Red-Eyed Knights, knowing how to approach each encounter can mean the difference between victory and a swift return to the Nexus.

In the Gates of Boletaria, you'll first encounter the lowly Dreglings. While individually weak, they can overwhelm you in numbers. Their tendency to sometimes ite barrels can be exploited. Further into the level, you'll face the more dangerous Blue-Eyed Knights. These knights are heavily armored and wield powerful weapons. Patience and precise timing are key when engaging them. Remember to use your shield for blocking and only attack when you see an opening, avoiding greedy combos that can leave you vulnerable.

The Red-Eyed Knight is a particularly challenging early-game enemy. Found guarding the Boletaria Mausoleum, this foe is best avoided until you are better equipped or have obtained the Mausoleum Key. Its aggressive attacks and high damage output demand a cautious approach. If you choose to fight it, be prepared for a difficult battle that tests your defensive and offensive capabilities.
