Understanding the core stats and attributes in Demon's Souls is fundamental to building a successful character. Each attribute governs different aspects of your character's performance, from raw damage output to magical prowess and survivability. Investing your hard-earned Souls wisely into these stats will determine your effectiveness against the myriad threats of Boletaria.
The eight primary attributes are Vitality, Intelligence, Endurance, Strength, Dexterity, Magic, Faith, and Luck. Vitality directly increases your maximum HP, making it a vital stat for any build, especially for those who tend to take hits. Intelligence boosts your maximum MP and the number of spell slots you have, crucial for sorcerers. Endurance increases your stamina, allowing for more attacks, dodges, and blocks, and also increases your equip load, enabling the use of heavier armor and weapons.
