Character progression in Demon's Souls is a deep and rewarding system that allows you to tailor your character to your preferred playstyle. Your primary means of progression is through leveling up your character by spending Souls with the Maiden in Black in the Nexus. Each level gained allows you to increase one of your core attributes: Vitality, Intelligence, Endurance, Strength, Dexterity, Magic, Faith, or Luck. The choice of which attribute to invest in is crucial and should al with your intended build.
Key Attributes and Their Impact on Builds:
- Vitality: Increases HP. Essential for all builds, especially melee.
- Endurance: Increases Stamina and Equip Load. Crucial for sustained combat and maintaining mobility.
