Each of the five Archstones has its own World Tendency, ranging from Pure White to Pure Black, with Neutral in the middle. Player deaths shift tendency towards Black, while defeating bosses shifts it towards White. Successfully navigating these shifts is key to experiencing everything the game has to offer.

Pure White World Tendency Events:

When a world reaches Pure White Tendency, the land is at its clearest, and hidden opportunities emerge:

• New Paths: Entirely new pathways and shortcuts often become accessible, leading to hidden areas, valuable items, or alternative routes through levels.
• Unique Items: Rare and powerful items, including specific weapons, rings, and upgrade materials, can only be found under Pure White Tendency. For example, the Stormruler in the Shrine of Storms is only accessible at Pure White Tendency.
• NPC Appearances: Certain NPCs may appear or change their dialogue and location under Pure White Tendency.
• Reduced Enemy Density: While not always the case, some areas may see a slight reduction in the number of standard enemies, making traversal easier.

Pure Black World Tendency Events:

Conversely, Pure Black World Tendency sifies the land's deepest corruption, bringing forth greater challenges and rewards:

• Black Phantoms: Powerful, recolored versions of regular enemies and even some bosses appear as Black Phantoms. These enemies are significantly stronger, have increased Soul drops, and often drop unique items or gear.
