Weapons & Upgrades

Discover powerful weapons early in your Demon's Souls journey. Magic users can acquire the Crescent Falchion +1, while a Scimitar is available for those who prefer curved swords. Later, you can obtain the legendary Demonbrandt by proving your worth in combat.

After fighting skeletons and passing through the Fog door, turn left and head outside. A Black Skeleton guards a Crescent Falchion +1, an excellent weapon for magic users. Continue up the stairs, where you can optionally use a ranged weapon or spell to defeat the Blue Dragon.

Proceed forward where two Boletaria Soldiers will emerge from a building on the left. Deal with them quickly. To your right, you will encounter a Blue Eye Knight wielding a two-handed sword. Before following Ostrava, enter the building in front of you; a Scimitar can be found at the end of the corridor.

Follow Ostrava to find two more enemies, one melee and one ranged. After dealing with them, loot the body in the corner to obtain x1 Unknown Warrior Soul.

Beyond the siege machines, a spear-wielding Soldier will approach while a crossbow-wielding one attacks from a distance. Lure the melee soldier away to fight him separately. Once he is defeated, approach and eliminate the ranged soldier. A corpse nearby holds x4 Half Moon Grass.

Later, you will engage in a fight. After reducing your opponent's health by a quarter, they will approve of you, allowing you to withdraw Demonbrandt from an altar.
