Spell & Miracle Lists (Categorized)
Demon's Souls offers a robust magic system with a wide array of Sorceries and Miracles, each serving distinct purposes in combat and exploration. Mastering these spells and miracles requires understanding their effects, casting requirements, and optimal usage scenarios. This categorized list provides an overview of the available magic.
Sorceries are primarily cast using Catalysts and scale with the Intelligence stat. They focus on offensive capabilities, dealing damage, inflicting status effects, or providing utility like enhanced movement. Miracles, on the other hand, are cast using Talismans and scale with the Faith stat. They lean towards support, healing, buffs, and divine-based offensive spells.

The acquisition of these spells and miracles often involves finding specific NPCs, completing quests, or defeating certain bosses and absorbing their souls to learn new abilities from the Maiden in Black. Each spell and miracle has a mana cost (MP) and requires a certain amount of attunement slots, which can be increased by leveling the Attunement stat.
