World Tendency

World Tendency in Demon's Souls significantly alters gameplay, unlocking new paths and encounters. In Pure White World Tendency for the Gates of Boletaria, a previously locked door near the starting point becomes accessible. This change is permanent once unlocked, even if World Tendency shifts later. Additionally, specific enemy encounters and item locations are tied to this state, offering unique challenges and rewards.

In the Gates of Boletaria, achieving Pure White World Tendency has several effects:

• The door on the left near the starting point will unlock. This door remains unlocked even if World Tendency changes.
• At the execution grounds, you will encounter three Black Phantom Dreglings. After defeating them, a Crystal Lizard appears nearby, and a pile of corpses can be looted for six Unknown Warrior Souls.
• From the location of the looted corpses, turn right and go up the slope, then turn left. Around the corner, near a cage on the ground, another slope leads down to a body holding a Blue-Eye Knight Helm. Continuing up this slope will cause five more Black Phantom Dreglings to appear.
