The Seasonal Artifact is a recurring feature in Destiny 2, and the 2026 Expansion introduces a new iteration designed to offer significant power boosts and unlock unique combat modifiers for the current season. This artifact, known as the 'Chronos Shard', is obtained early in the expansion's campaign and serves as a central progression tool throughout the season. The Chronos Shard features a tiered progression system. The initial tiers typically unlock general stat bonuses or minor ability enhancements.
