Armor in Destiny 2 comes with six core stats, each impacting your Guardian's performance. Understanding these stats and how to prioritize them is crucial for effective buildcrafting.

Core Stats:

  1. Mobility (Hunters): Increases movement speed and jump height. Reduces Hunter Dodge cooldown.
  2. Resilience (Titans): Increases damage resistance and shield capacity. Reduces Titan Barricade cooldown.
  3. Recovery (Warlocks): Increases health and shield regeneration rate. Reduces Warlock Rift cooldown.
  4. Discipline: Reduces Grenade ability cooldown.
  5. Intellect: Reduces Super ability cooldown.
  6. Strength: Reduces Melee ability cooldown.

Stat Tiers:

Stats are measured in tiers of 10 (0-100). Reaching a higher tier significantly reduces cooldowns or increases effectiveness. Aim for T10 (100) in your primary class stat and other key abilities.

Stat Distribution:

High-stat armor (60+ total stats) is desirable. Look for armor with 'spiky' distributions, meaning high numbers in 2-3 specific stats you care about, rather than an even spread. Use Armor Mods to further enhance specific stats and fine-tune your build.
