·Multi-source verified (74/74)

Location:

Venus (Vault of Glass Raid)

Mechanics:

  1. Teleportation: Atheon will randomly teleport three Guardians to either the 'Mars' (red) or 'Venus' (green) side of the 'Timestream'.
  2. Oracles: The teleported team must defeat a specific sequence of Oracles.
  3. Relic Holder: One of the teleported Guardians will pick up the 'Relic' (Aegis), which can cleanse 'Mark of Negation' and shield.
  4. Non-Teleported Team: The remaining three Guardians stay in the main arena and clear adds, and call out the Oracle sequence.
  5. Damage Phase: Once Oracles are cleared and the teleported team returns, a damage phase begins.

Strategy:

This is a highly coordinated fight. The teleported team must quickly identify their location (Mars or Venus) and the Oracle sequence. The Relic holder cleanses 'Mark of Negation' (a debuff that kills you if not cleansed) and uses the Relic's shield to protect the team during the Oracle clear. The non-teleported team must clear Supplicants (explosive Harpies) and call out the Oracle sequence. Once the teleported team returns, everyone gathers in the middle, gets the 'Time's Vengeance' buff (massive damage increase), and unleashes all heavy weapons and Supers on Atheon's critical spot (its chest).

Weaknesses:

  • High burst damage during 'Time's Vengeance'.
  • Precision damage on chest.

Rewards:

  • Vault of Glass Raid Legendary Gear
  • Vex Mythoclast (Exotic Fusion Rifle - rare drop)
