Mechanics:

  1. Light & Dark Buffs: The arena has 'Light' and 'Dark' sides. Guardians must maintain a balance of 'Field of Light' and 'Field of Darkness' buffs by shooting specific nodes.
  2. Nezarec's Attacks: Nezarec has powerful area-of-effect attacks and a devastating 'wipe' mechanic if buffs are not managed.
  3. Damage Phase: Activated by successfully linking the Light and Dark sides.

Strategy:

Nezarec is a relatively straightforward DPS check once the mechanics are understood. The team needs to assign roles for shooting the 'Light' and 'Dark' nodes to maintain the buffs. One Guardian will typically be the 'runner' to link the sides by shooting nodes in sequence. The rest of the team clears adds and damages Nezarec when possible. During the damage phase, Nezarec will expose his critical spot (chest). Unleash all heavy weapons and Supers. Be aware of his powerful slam attacks and the 'wipe' mechanic if the buffs are not linked correctly. Mobility and sustained damage are key.
