Joining a Clan & LFG

Enhance your Destiny 2 experience by joining a clan for community and rewards, or using LFG tools for finding fireteams for any activity.

Destiny 2 is a social game, and many of its most rewarding activities require a coordinated fireteam. Joining a clan or using Looking For Group (LFG) tools is essential for experiencing the full breadth of content.

Clans:

  • Benefits: Regular teammates, shared XP bonus, weekly clan engrams (Powerful Gear), a community for advice and support.
  • Finding a Clan: Use Bungie.net's clan finder, Reddit (r/Fireteams, r/Destiny2Clans), or in-game clan recruitment.

LFG (Looking For Group):

  • Purpose: Find temporary teammates for specific activities (Raids, Dungeons, Nightfalls, Trials).
  • Tools: The official Destiny 2 Companion App has an excellent LFG feature. Discord servers (e.g., the official Destiny 2 LFG Discord) are also very popular.
  • Etiquette: Be clear about your experience level and what you're looking for. Be patient and respectful.

Don't be shy about reaching out to other Guardians. The community is generally welcoming, and playing with a team makes challenging content much more enjoyable and achievable.
