The Destiny UI provides vital information during gameplay and in your inventory. Familiarizing yourself with it will greatly enhance your experience:

In-Game HUD:

  • Radar: Located in the top-left, it shows enemy positions (red pips), allies (blue pips), and objectives.
  • Ability Cooldowns: Bottom-left, displays the status of your grenade, melee, and class abilities.
  • Super Meter: Bottom-center, indicates how close you are to charging your Super.
  • Weapon Ammo: Bottom-right, shows your current weapon's ammo count and reserves.
  • Health & Shield: Bottom-center, your health bar (white) and shield bar (blue). Shields regenerate over time.
  • Objective Tracker: Top-center, guides you to your current mission objective.

Inventory & Character Screen:

Accessed by pressing the menu button (Options/Menu on console, Esc on PC), this screen allows you to manage your gear, abilities, and quests.

  • Character Tab: Equip weapons, armor, and Ghost shells. View your stats and Power Level.
  • Inventory Tab: Access consumables, materials, and engrams.
  • Abilities Tab: Select your subclass, equip perks, and customize your Super.
  • Quests Tab: Track your active quests, bounties, and challenges.
  • Map Tab: Navigate to different destinations and activities.

Spend some time exploring these menus to understand where everything is located. Efficient UI navigation is key to quickly adapting your loadout and tracking your progress.
