Objective: Infiltrate the Cabal command ship, the Immortal, and rescue the captured Speaker.
- Infiltrate the Immortal: Land on the Cabal ship and fight your way through the initial defenses. Expect heavy Cabal resistance.
- Disable the ship's defenses: You'll need to destroy several power conduits to open the path forward. These are often guarded by tougher enemies.
- Navigate the ship's interior: The Immortal is a labyrinthine environment. Follow your objective marker carefully, using your radar to anticipate enemy positions.
- Confront the Consul: You'll eventually reach the Speaker's prison. Here, you'll face the Consul, Ghaul's advisor, in a boss fight. The Consul is a powerful Cabal Psion. Focus on dodging his attacks and using your Super when available.
- Witness the Speaker's fate: After defeating the Consul, a tragic cutscene will play, revealing the Speaker's demise.
- Escape the Immortal: Fight your way back out of the ship, which will now be in disarray.
This mission is a significant turning point in the Red War narrative, highlighting the ruthlessness of the Red Legion. The Consul boss fight requires good positioning and ability management. Ensure your gear is up to date before attempting this mission.
