Strikes are 3-player cooperative missions with specific objectives and a boss encounter at the end. They are a great way to earn gear, experience, and Glimmer. Nightfalls are harder versions of Strikes, offering greater rewards but also introducing modifiers that make them significantly more challenging.

Standard Strikes:
- Matchmaking: Available for all standard Strikes, allowing you to easily find a fireteam.
- Objectives: Typically involve clearing areas, defending points, and defeating a final boss.
- Rewards: Blue and Legendary gear, Glimmer, and experience.
Nightfall: The Ordeal:
- Difficulty Tiers: Adept, Hero, Legend, Master, Grandmaster. Each tier increases enemy power, adds more modifiers, and offers better rewards.
- Modifiers: These change weekly and can include increased enemy damage, specific elemental burns, or unique enemy abilities.
- Champions: Higher difficulty Nightfalls feature Champions (Barrier, Overload, Unstoppable) that require specific mods on your weapons to defeat.
- Rewards: Pinnacle gear (for higher tiers), Exotic engrams, Ascendant Shards, Enhancement Prisms, and unique Nightfall weapons.
Participating in Nightfalls, especially at higher difficulties, is essential for endgame progression and acquiring some of the best gear in the game. Always check the weekly modifiers and prepare your loadout accordingly.
