Welcome to the legendary 'Land of a Thousand Lakes' and its incredibly fast, jump-filled stages in Season 9. Finland is renowned for its smooth, flowing gravel roads that reward drivers who can maintain high speeds and master the art of the jump.

The Finnish stages in Dirt Rally 2.0 are a true test of commitment and bravery. You'll be travelling at very high speeds, often over blind crests that launch your car into the air. The gravel here is generally smooth and fast, but the sheer speed and the frequent jumps mean that even small mistakes can have sificant consequences. Cars that offer excellent stability at high speeds and good aerodynamic properties are ideal. The Ford Focus RS WRC 07 or the Škoda Fabia R5 are excellent choices, providing the necessary performance and handling characteristics. The Volkswagen Polo GTI R5 also performs very well here.

Pace notes in Finland are crucial, especially for anticipating those massive jumps. Listen for 'jump' calls and prepare to lift slightly and keep the car straight on landing. While the roads are generally smooth, there can be occasional ruts or loose sections that require quick adaptation. The key to success is to maintain a smooth, flowing rhythm and to trust your car and your co-driver. Avoid unnecessary braking and try to carry as much speed as possible through the corners. The ditches here are less of a threat than in some other locations, but they still exist, so staying on the road is paramount.

For Stage 3 of the Finland Rally, focus on commitment and smooth driving. It's tempting to go flat-out everywhere, but precision is key. Try to anticipate the road ahead and use the width of the road to your advantage. If you're struggling with a particular jump or landing, use time trial mode to practice and refine your technique. Experiment with your car's setup; a slightly stiffer suspension can help with stability on landings, and adjusting the differential can improve traction out of corners. Mastering Finland requires a fearless approach combined with precise control.
