Disgaea 6 allows you to create a vast army of custom characters to complement your main story party. To create a new character, visit the 'Dark Assembly' in the hub world and select 'Create a New Character'. You'll need Mana, which is earned by defeating enemies. Each character class has unique aptitudes, weapon proficiencies, and learnable skills. Early game, focus on creating a few strong physical attackers like Warriors or Brawlers, and a magic user like a Mage or Skull. Healers (Clerics) are also invaluable for survivability. As you progress, more advanced classes like Ninjas, Samurai, and even unique monster classes will unlock, offering diverse strategic options. Experiment with different classes to find what suits your playstyle and party composition best. Remember that characters can reincarnate into different classes later, retaining a portion of their previous stats and skills.
