Once you've familiarized yourself with Cyseal and completed the initial investigations, it's time to venture beyond the city walls. The immediate countryside surrounding Cyseal is rich with opportunities for experience, loot, and crucial quest progression. However, it also harbors significant dangers. Approach each area with caution and be prepared for combat.
The Eastern Beach and Lighthouse
Your first foray outside Cyseal should be to the east, towards the lighthouse. This area is a good starting point for lower-level parties.
- Path: Exit Cyseal through the eastern gate. Follow the main path until it forks. Take the southern fork leading towards the beach.
- Initial Encounters: You'll likely encounter a few scattered
Decaying Zombies andRotten Zombies . These are relatively weak but can apply the "Poisoned" status effect, so bring someMinor Healing Potions or a character with healing spells. - Lighthouse Approach: As you get closer to the lighthouse, the enemies become more concentrated. You'll face groups of
