Disconnections, whether due to internet instability, software crashes, or power outages, are an unfortunate reality of online gaming. Fortunately, Dota 2 has a well-implemented system to help you rejoin your match. If you disconnect, the game will usually prompt you to reconnect automatically. If it doesn't, or if you close the Dota 2 client, you can always manually reconnect. To do this, simply launch Dota 2.
