Looting & Inventory Management
Effective looting and inventory management are essential skills for any Inquisitor in Dragon Age: Inquisition. Gathering resources, equipment, and crafting materials is vital for survival, progression, and fortifying the Inquisition. Learning to manage your limited inventory space efficiently will save you time and ensure you always have what you need.
Throughout your adventures, you'll find loot in various places: fallen enemies, treasure chests, strongboxes, and scattered throughout the environment. Prioritize looting containers and defeated enemies, as they often yield the most valuable items. Pay attention to resource nodes like Iron, Elfroot, and various ores, which are crucial for crafting.
Your inventory has a limited capacity, so regular management is key. Regularly visit merchants in major hubs like Haven or Skyhold to sell unwanted items. Prioritize selling common crafting materials you have in abundance, lower-tier gear, and items that don't fit your party's needs. Keep a good stock of essential crafting materials and any unique items that might be useful later.
Consider using the Stash feature in Skyhold to store items you don't need immediately but might want to use later, such as specific crafting materials for a particular specialization or rare schematics. This frees up valuable inventory space while ensuring you don't lose potentially useful items.
