Equip your Inquisition with the best weapons and armor to overcome formidable foes. Prioritize taking out ranged enemies like Qunari mages and archers first, as they inflict significant damage. Look for Rare Weapons and Rare Rings dropped by enemies, such as Red Templars, to upgrade your arsenal. Prepare for High Dragon battles with fire resistance and frost staves.

An Equipment section details where to find some of the best weapons and armor. When facing groups of enemies, such as spirit Librarians and poisonous spiders, eliminate the spiders first due to their high ranged damage. Against Qunari, focus on mages first, then use area-of-effect attacks on melee mobs. Mark of the Rift can be useful in these situations. During encounters with Red Templars, prioritize Templar Horrors, then foot soldiers. For the second wave, defeat Marksman and Guards, focusing on ranged enemies first. Rare Weapons and Rare Rings can drop from these first two waves. Before confronting a High Dragon, equip gear with fire resistance and frost staves, and apply Dragon Runes to your weapons.
